SWF Badge & Product Cutting Venere Needles
Many customers are involved in supplying or generating stand-alone badges.
These are either fully embroidered badges that can then be sewn onto the pocket of a blazer or some such garment or special application products.
Every embroidery machine in the SWF range, no matter what size, has the capability of embroidering and cutting out fabric / holes or even stand-alone badges by using Venere needles.
These are needles that have been developed to cut and not sew !
They have no eye for the thread to go through because that is not their job. Instead they have an angled cutting edge that will cut through the fabric.
The method is simple: First you replace one of the standard needles with a Venere needle. Â Secondly you have the pattern specially digitised to include an extra function for cutting.
With these two things in place you then  simply place your sheet of fabric on the machine, load the design and press the start button.  The machine will embroider the badge / fabric and then cut out the required parts you don’t want!
It’s really as simple as that! You can either embroidery individual badges and cut them out or even embelish and cut almost anything!
Whatever SWF machine you have you can use Venere needles to achieve perfect badge embroidery. Â The investment is low but the results can be very profitable because Venere needles effectively add another very useful function to your machine.
You can use vertically any embroidery software to create the cut lines or if you are after the easy life then we can offer a special piece of automation software that was specially developed just for the job.
What makes the SWF machine really special when compared to all of its competitors is that all SWF machines have the ability to turn off the thread sensors and trimming system on specific needles  by simply selecting
The installation of four needles on a machine, as show in the picture, permits every kind of cut.
The system consists of 4 cutting needles, which replace the regular embroidery needles. They are installed at an angle of 45° to each other (0° – 45° – 90° – 135°).
Simple forms such as rectangles, rhombi, squares, etc. requires only two needles for cutting. Â However, with all four needles, every kind of complex forms can be archived.
A simple running stitch which runs parallel to the embroidery must be inserted in the existing design. Its stitch length should not exceed 1mm.
The cutting needle has width of 1,2mm. The cutting can be programmed independently, either before or after the embroidery.
This ability enables companies to create special artwork in different branches with a higher quality, shorter production time and lower costs.
Overall this function makes your SWF Embroidery machine even more PROFITABLE!
